For the last twelve years, she has focused on working with her husband and partner, JP Durand. In 1997, they were hired by Paramount Music to compose cues for Entertainment Tonight, which were then used extensively on many other Paramount shows. Since then, they have written many different library CD’s for Sonoton/APM, Megatrax, Five Alarm Music and Frame Works. They have also written, produced, and performed on music for “Extreme Makeover”, “American Idol”, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, “Ellen”, the Flameworthy Country Music Awards, several independent films, and a host of other network shows as well as A&E (score to the “History of Mexico” miniseries) and Animal Planet (“Who Gets the Dog” and “Ultimate Zoo”, amongst others).
In 1999, Liza and J.P. started working with guitarist/composer Jim Stubblefield. Together they formed the latin guitar world fusion group INCENDIO. Their first 2 CD’s (released on PARAS Recordings) charted on Billboard, CMJ, and various other charts. To date, they have now released 7 CD’s and a DVD internationally (including two recent titles on New World Music), and tour around the United States and beyond for an average of 120 dates a year at festivals, theaters, clubs, and cultural centers. Their music is played on Pandora, Spotify, and radio stations around the world. Liza is a key contributor to the group, producing the CD’s, composing the tunes, and performing live on both bass and guitar. Liza's life is a total immersion and music and the creative process. She is so pleased to finally be able to share her first true solo CD "Wait for the Spring".
